About his book, to
Tell measurements (initially called "the alphabet book") written by Rabbi Nachman and is a collection of articles on various dimensions, as well as on various aspects of human life. The book is arranged according to different values, according to alphabetical order. Initially, the book was handwritten by Rabbi Nachman, not published, but in Tks"g (1803) called Rabbi Nachman Rabbi Natan Sternhartz and read him the majority of the book to prepare for print.
Rabbi Nachman appreciated the book, and told him, "This book is my good friend! This book made me a Jew!"
The book is divided into two parts, one called "Alphabet Old", while the second is called "new alphabet". The first part of the book written by Rabbi Nachman days of childhood, while the second section has written more recently. The first edition printed in two parts separate, but it corrected in the second edition of Rabbi Nathan, and both parts were printed together, each value has a first part and second part.
According to the testimony of Rabbi Natan, printed book is just a tiny fraction of the manuscript of Rabbi Nachman. The only medical value, number of Rabbi Natan, Rebbe Nachman had written two hundred pages.
